Our history begins in 1926 by the great-grandfather Marcellino who bought one of the first roller mills for grinding wheat and managed to obtain white flour, replacing an old water mill, at that time present in the country of Lugo.
The mill consisted of a rolling mill "white" (for wheat) and a "yellow" one (for yellow corn), this last one for the production of polenta.
Marcellino continues the own activities until the birth of his children, one of them Alfonso together with two other brothers began the activity of oil manufacture too. Thanks to the good results with this new production in the 1951 a new mill for wheat was built, a true innovation for that period.
The work goes on well and, considering the various needs of the customers, over the time begins to emerge in Veronesi's brothers the idea to produce mixtures for animals, using the products that they got from the mill and from the oil mill. In 1966 a feed mill was built, that will be renewed during the years.
Together with this process continues the grinding of the wheat for soft wheat flour, directed to the bakeries, pizzerias, pastries and so on.., giving much importance to the selection of raw materials, including their origin too. The sons Valerio and Daniele succeeded Alfonso and continued with commitment and professionalism their activities, until to reach the current one generation carried on by the sons of Valerio: Elena, Alberto and Enrico that go on following the tradition, addressed in quality and origin of the raw materials, and respecting the research and the service towards the clients.
Elena, Alberto and Enrico, after years of intense commitment, thanks to their passion and dedication; are today able to offer an healthy and genuine variety of products such as sweet, savory and pasta.
Without forgetting their support to let know the barley as well as wheat. The barley is an aliment rich in beta-glucans (soluble fiber Hypocholesterolemic and Hypoglycemic Acting), substances able to prevent the hepatic synthesis of cholesterol. So Veronesi managed to develop some barley products with at least 70% of barley.
In order to complete their work, Elena, Alberto and Enrico, from October 2011, with a new and creative marketing support, have created a new assortment line of products realized with first choice genuine ingredients for delicious top quality products, that cover the daily needs of each individual family.
In just one year of time, the Veronesi's brothers were able to well introduce themselves in the market, thanks first of all to their products' quality, but for their seriousness too, and for their efficient system of service towards each customer; Veronesi are today well appreciated. Their intent was to spread the Molini Veronesi range in the North of Italy with the aim to further develop in the national and international market.
